Pine Lodge Labradoodles is a home-based Australian Labradoodle business. Our goal is to breed dogs with sound health and character; we also strive to achieve allergy-friendly dogs. We take great care in choosing our breeding dogs so that we might accomplish this. We love to bring puppies to families for pets and for service dogs. We also, on occasion, provide breeding dogs. Our dogs live with us or in carefully selected guardian homes.
We are high school sweethearts that have been both best friends as well as husband and wife since 1978. We raised our 5 children, and a few extra boys, on a 20 acre farm in Washington state. We experienced all those wonderful things country living and children can bring with it: farm animals, motorcycles, ponies, critters of all sorts, fishing, 4-H, Scouting, PTA, band, orchestra, sports, gardening, butchering and, of course, all the laundry! When our youngest son finished school we decided to have a change of scenery. We left our lovely corner of Washington and moved to Oregon.
We currently live east of Portland, Oregon, in the foothills of beautiful Mt. Hood. We live with our doodles, a few cows, a llama, and a sheep, on 20 beautiful acres.
We are enjoying this season of our life, where we have time to spend with our dogs. You will often find us on a nice evening sitting in the backyard, with dogs and puppies running around us. It doesn’t get much better than that! Our dogs also enjoy a nice Sunday afternoon drive in the doodle-mobile!
We bring many of our dogs to Europe. We enjoy the opportunity it has given us to travel the world and meet so many fantastic people.
As we meet and introduce you to our great Australian Labradoodles, it is our goal to treat you like we would like to be treated. We hear a lot of comments about bad experiences with breeders or people from the dog world, and we have had those experiences, too. We hope that with us you will feel like you have a friend and that you have joined The Pine Lodge Labradoodle Family.
We want you to know that we think family is most important. Having a family pet can be good for everyone. While raising our children, we found a puppy could help a family bond, teach responsibility to children, help everyone gain a little more fresh air and exercise, and bring smiles and laughter to a home.
Let us know if we can help you add an Australian Labradoodle to your home!
