Our first day of the road trip is over. It was a great day! The puppies traveled so well!
We left Pine Lodge around 4:45 a.m. or so… it was early! And dark. And drizzling.
Our first stop was Bend, Oregon. We arrived there shortly after 7. Walter met his new family there. They were all happy to see each other.
As we traveled on, we stopped every 2 to 3 hours for a potty break or/and to eat.
One interesting little town we passed through was Hines. Take a look at these murals! And we loved “Holland Street,” with a very western mural behind it.
Here we are, working on our selfies for our daughter. That is the Snake River and Treasure Valley behind us.
Our second stop is Boise, Idaho. We met in the parking lot near the LDS Boise Temple. Paisley’s new mom met us there. The puppy had a nice time playing and eating.
As the sun set, we fed the puppies dinner in Utah, in the little town of Snowville.
Our last stop was Salt Lake City. Here Scout met some of his family.
We are now chilling in a hotel room, getting ready for visiting friends and looking around Salt Lake City tomorrow.
So glad to see you were smiling all the way through your trip…so far. Have fun and hug my mom for me!
