I wanted to write and give you an update on Dewey! She’s due for another round of her vaccines next week! She weighs 11.4 lbs.
Dewey has been working on her socialization and has been doing splendidly! She was very shy at first with strangers, but done so well. We take her to different places a few time a week to see, hear and smell new things. She loves to explore. She also has met several of our dog friends and has warmed up to them so nicely each time. She is still very cautious around strange dogs and sits quietly and watches, but will eventually let them sniff!
Dewey is sweet, playful and full of life! The perfect little girl. She knows sit, come and stay (her newest trick). She LOVES her crate and sleeps through the night. Sometimes we have to pry her out. We work on crate training daily and are up to 1 hr and 45 mins in the crate during the day, which she happily hops into. She is a champion during brushing time and is slowly getting use to the blow dryer after baths!
