When you bring a Pine Lodge labradoodle puppy into your home, you are joining our family. We feel family is really important. We thought maybe you would like to know a little bit about our family.
In 2005 Roy and I began Pine Lodge Labradoodles. It came about when we became empty nesters! Having a large family and being so busy with all the activities that go on with that and living in our country home in Northwest Washington, we found a real void in out life. We thought maybe we would have 4 dogs and have a little doodle-ing go on. But as life usually goes, we had no idea what we had in-store for us!
As time went on our daughter and a couple of daughter-in-laws helped us out some. And then we blinked, and we had 3 of our children, 2 of their spouses and 2 granddaughters working with us! Plus some of their young children spending the day here with the dogs and puppies. We also have other sons and their families who don’t work with us.
We’d like to introduce you to these wonderful people who keep Pine Lodge Labradoodles going.
Brigham is our oldest son. He and his wife, Debra have 3 wonderful boys. They live like a half mile away. Brigham helps with the nursery and the lodge. If we have an appliance or lawn mower not working, he can fix that! Debra is our groomer. She keeps our dogs clean and sharp looking! They also own some of the Pine Lodge dogs. The boys are wonderful dog socializers!
Tiffany is our token daughter in our family of boys. She and John have 2 daughters. Tiffany does our books, website, dog meds and whatever else needs done. Her daughters both work for us. Keira does puppy grooming and photography. Scharae is in charge of inventory for puppy supplies. John supports all the girls in their work, but he has like a normal job.
Our son Beau also works for us as well as his wife Joanne. Beau helps with the nursery and lodge. He maintains and repairs the tractor or gator as needed. He’s great at walking the adult dogs. Joanne is our office manager and much more! She keeps us organized and going! Their two children help Papa on the tractor and socializing the puppies.
We have 4 other employees that help us also. We are so grateful to all those who work so hard and make Pine Lodge’s program work!

We got our sweet labradoodle puppy (Mandee) from Pine Lodge Labradoodles in April of 2015. We have had mostly labs all our married life. But, our sweet little Mandee has brought us more joy, love, and companionship than we ever thought possible. Their personalities, and overall demeanor is something that I don’t think can be matched by any other breeds. (I guess I’m partial).
She is sweet, smart, loving, and such a people lover. Can’t thank you enough for blessing us with her!!! Cris in Boise, Idaho
